Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

As we drove home from Mrs. Lydia's today, I realized it wasn't freezing rain that was hitting the windshield. It was snow!!!! It was so beautiful as it fell! As soon as we got home, we ran to the front yard to play! What a great little Christmas gift from God!

Thank you for your sweet words of encouragement and for following our journey.
New Life has been an amazing part of my life as well, unfortunately the relationship with my son's family, is not what I had hoped it would be. But, I still pray that one day, they will want me to be some part of his life.
I wanted to make sure that you understood what I meant about being a mommy: I meant that I know I am his mother and no one will ever be able to take that away from me, but I am not his mommy. His adoptive mother is his mother, but also his mommy. She is the one that kisses his boo-boos, heals his hurts and tucks him in each night. Someday, I pray that I will have a child that I get to be mommy to. Whether they are my DNA or not, whether I am ever pregnant or not, I want to be the one that loves them the way that she gets to love him every day.
I just wanted to clarify because I didn't want you to think that I meant being pregnant is what makes a mommy.
You have a beautiful family. I am glad that we have crossed paths in this crazy blogworld!

I totally get what you mean about being a Mommy! And I know the ACHE for being that! It's the toughest job in the entire world--the biggest responsibility, yet an amazing gift from God. He has a plan for you! Hold on to his promises!
